Saved information

Favorites, dining preferences, selected cities, collections and existing local trips, diary entries and documents are stored on your device. WRTE does not upload these records to an app backend. You can export records through the system share sheet and import a favorites backup. You control where exported files go. Device backups and storage providers you choose are governed by your device settings and those providers.

Local data can be lost when the app is deleted. Keep an export before reinstalling. Older cloud-only favorites are not automatically migrated; export them from the older app first. Updating to this version does not itself erase data previously stored by an older version.

Location, maps and weather

Location permission is optional. You can choose a city manually. Nearby search and weather use Apple’s native Maps and WeatherKit services, which receive the location or search area needed for those requests. Apple handles these services under its privacy policies. The app does not send your location to an AE STUDIO SPACE server.

Siri, Shortcuts and booking websites

When you invoke app actions, Siri or Shortcuts can use the restaurant and dining context exposed by the action. Booking preparation happens in the app; completing a reservation opens the selected restaurant or booking provider. The destination may receive search details such as venue, date, time or party size. Its own privacy policy applies to information you provide there. WRTE does not store provider passwords or payment details.

Other network requests

Apple Maps search, WeatherKit, App Store update checks, external photos and links require internet. Image and website hosts receive normal connection information such as your IP address. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs and no cross-app tracking in WRTE.

Support and your choices

You can change location permission in iOS Settings, remove saved items in the app and manage previous Apple subscriptions in Apple’s subscription settings. If you contact support, we use the information you provide to respond. For privacy questions, email support@aestudio.studio.
