Raku / Support
A little help.
A clearer Mac.
Raku is a Mac menu bar app for people who work with coding agents. The App Store edition is in preparation. It requires macOS 14 or later.
Open the app
Click Raku’s icon in the top menu bar. Space, Agents, Mac, Context and Devices use the same surface. Click the header to compact or expand it. There is no separate main window or Dock icon.
Review storage
Choose Check files for an inventory, or Quick clean up for a focused review of old app caches, temporary files and user logs. Review the selection before Move to Trash. A file’s category alone never authorizes cleanup.
Why is an item protected?
Raku keeps source, Git history, credentials, staging, agent databases and installed runtimes. Recently changed, open, active or incompletely inspected items are protected too. Restricted system data is for review. If a check cannot finish, nothing is removed from that item.
Recover files
Open Trash in Finder and choose Put Back for the file you want to restore. Space moved to Trash is not reclaimed until you empty Trash yourself. Simulator device removal, when available, is separate and warns that device apps and test data cannot be recovered through Trash.
Understand agent context
Supported agents appear when installed. Raku shows saved metadata when available, not a live context feed. “Not shared” means the provider did not expose that reading. Token totals, saved percentages and live context capacity are different measurements.
Memory and file access
Mac shows memory details, not a RAM purge button. Available file access depends on macOS permissions and the app edition. Grant access only to folders you want to inspect; do not disable macOS security protections.
Contact
Email support@aestudio.studio with your macOS version, Raku version and the steps that caused the problem. Remove private paths from screenshots. Do not send credentials, private prompts, source files or agent databases.
