GROW AT YOUR OWN PACEKEEP SOMETHING LIVING
A practice of attention

There is a whole world
in the smallest things.

Photograph.
Observe.
Return.

01 — The journal

A living thing.
A lasting record.

Your terrarium has its own pace. Keep a photograph, a few words, or a small act of care. Return to them when something catches your eye.

An illustrative preview of the journal. Your own photographs and observations make it yours.

02 — Ways to grow

One practice.
Many small worlds.

From a glass bowl to a planted landscape, start with what you keep. The app’s guide offers observation prompts for three growing formats.

01 / Under glass

A glass garden.

Notice the glass, the moss, and the light. Return to the same view, one photograph at a time.

Reference family: DOOA Glass Pot

02 / On a living surface

A mounted garden.

Follow moss across a planted surface. Keep notes on misting, trimming, and what changes.

Reference family: DOOA Terra Base / Terra Plate

03 / A landscape in miniature

A paludarium.

Step back to see the whole scene. Remember adjustments to airflow, equipment, and everyday care.

Reference family: DOOA System / Neo Glass Paluda

Moss terrarium is an independent AE STUDIO SPACE app, with no affiliation to DOOA. Reference families help describe growing formats; the journal does not connect to equipment or prescribe a care schedule.

03 — Yours to keep

A quieter corner
of your phone.

The journal is stored on your iPhone. No account to create. No cloud sync to configure. Export a backup to keep a separate copy of your photographs and records.

What does the app keep?

Terrarium names, optional species and location notes, photographs, observations, care events, and reminder settings. Camera, photo-library, and notification permissions are requested when you use the related feature.

Can it tell me when to water?

You choose your reminder schedule. The journal records your observations and actions; it does not diagnose plant health or decide what care your plants need.

When can I download it?

The iPhone app is in development. A download link will appear here when it is available. No sign-up is required to explore this page.

A little attention goes a long way.
